Research

My research focuses on dendritic calcium channels in hippocampal neurons. I am working with expansion microscopy to map the architecture of calcium channels and select neuromodulatory receptors across the entire dendritic tree, and will use patch-clamp electrophysiology to investigate the related spatiotemporal calcium- and voltage-dynamics across neuronal oscillations like the theta-rhythm.
