Cookies and privacy

This website sets no cookies and does not track you.

Cookies

This website does not put cookies, or anything else, on your device. It uses no analytics, advertising or social media tools, and it loads nothing from other websites: no fonts, scripts, videos or maps. So nothing about your visit is passed to anyone else, and there is nothing to accept or decline.

Links to other websites, such as PubMed and journal publishers, take you to sites with their own cookie and privacy policies.

What the web server records

Like any web server, ours keeps a log of the requests it receives: your IP address, the date and time, the page asked for and your browser’s description of itself. The log is used only to keep the site secure and running, and is deleted after fourteen days. The server is run for the Department by Mythic Beasts.
